Pampering yourself is the third step in our 'Stress Free Me' thingie. You should pamper yourself because it calms you down, obviously cuz otherwize we wdn't b talking about it. It is so important to have 'me' time: just relaxing and completely forgetting about everything for a while. It clears your mind completely and can just generally help you to feel better :P

Today we will be talking about taking brakes little and often. This mainly applies to if your revising for exams (as many of us are atm), but you could use this in your daily lives as well we guess.
Taking brakes stops the stress from building up. It also gives your brain a bit of time to recuperate between bursts of whatever you are doing. It makes you feel happier just to change what you are doing as well, so all in all IT'S GREAT!

10 Steps to a Stress Free Me - #1

Hi guys! Did you know it's mental health awareness week?? Well it is, so we will do a post in light of that. As it's mental health awareness week and as we are concentrating on anxiety (did we say that, no? Okay well we are) we will give you 10 tips on de-stressing your life.
Every day for the next 10 DAYS we will upload a 'tip-post' thingie so, HOPE YOU ENJOY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today we will be talking about how sleep helps to keep you calmer and less 'het-up'.
Well, basically if you are stressed you will be loosing sleep because of that. This would then cause you to lose concentration in your day-to-day lives which could cause you to fall behind at school and things like that. Giving yourself a longer time to sleep allows you a longer chance for sleep even if a large part of it is spent tossing and turning. Also when you sleep your brain gets a chance to relax and mull over the events of the day thus allowing you to wake up refreshed and de-stressed.

We have just been UNBELIEVABLY busy with tests and stuff in school atm :/ so from now on we will try our hardest to post EVERY DAY!

It was absolutely hilarious and it was really well done! It's probably one of my favourite films! I throughly recommend you go and see it!

Firstly, I should explain why we haven't posted in  FOR EVER!!!!!!

1. Atm, Han is in Hong Kong on holiday! Jealous!
2. I have been sooo busy, because I have been doing a lot of art coursework and revision for exams!

Sorry we haven't posted in a while, we're going to be posting a lot more regularly now especially when Han is home!

Holiday Baking!

Hey guys! We are happy to announce that we're FINALLY on holidays!
On Friday, we had to do this massive cross country run, ew....
But Friday ended well because Han went round to Em's house, we had dominoes then watched DIVERGENT! It was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Then we decided to have a sleep over at Em's, and the next day we made pancakes for breakfast and went to town! Em bought books and some things from lush! And Han didn't buy anything as she was being good, apart from a Starbucks as per usual!

Since its holidays Em decided to make some cakes with her sister so here is her recipe!!

To make you need:

200 g of caster sugar
200 g of self raising flour
200 g of butter unsalted
4 eggs

Makes approx 12 - 15

Firstly, beat together the sugar and the butter until fluffy and light.

Next, add in the eggs a little at a time.

Then add in the flour and mix until the mixture is like a smooth paste and you're done!

Next you need to put the mixture into cake cases to  bake them! We used silicon cake moulds because they're reusable and create a better shape :)

After you've done this you need to preheat the oven to 180°c (fan) and then put the cakes in for 18-22 minutes.

After the cakes are cooked take them out of the cases and place them on a cooling rack. We decorated ours with Nutella! But you can make whatever icing you want :) they are DELICIOUS!

Han: I like champagne colours because they are so beautiful and shiny. Personally I like wearing strong lips and so this light colour will go with everything, looking natural without being too plain or too much.
Em: I don't have a specific favourite, but I like gold shimmery eyeshadow, or a matte cork kind of colour.
2. What are your favourite make-up brands, that you would recommend to others?
Han: My favourite makeup brand is E.L.F because it produces high quality make-up products for very low prices. I would recommend it to anyone.
Em: I agree!
3. What is your 'go-to' beauty product?
Han: um . . . probably my mascara (Loreal illegal lash)
Em: Either my maybelline colour tattoo in 'On and on Bronze' or my Barry M coral Lipstick.
4. What's your favourite colour to wear on the lips?
Han: Either coral or red :)
Em: Same
5. What colour blush do you prefer?
Han: a light pink

If you were a Disney princess, who would you be and why?
Han: Bell. No question about that. She is just so gorgeous and seems so nice. I also like her brown hair and the kiss curls that frame her face . . . gorgeous. And her ball gown for the dance with 'the beast', the yellow one. Imagine wearing that dress for prom!
Em: I'm not really sure, I don't have a favourite!

Hello to April :))))))

Wow, that is so scary that it's been a month since writing our last 'first of the month' post (if that's what you wanna call them). Tomorrow (if not tomorrow asap) we're hopefully gonna put up our first favourites post. It will be our March faves cuz we've been taking pics throughout the last month and we would really like to share our favourite things from March with you :)

Okay, so this month we will have our Easter break. Over that hols we are looking forward to; shopping, SPA DAY, rowing camp, DIVERGENT MOVIE (we will be seeing it on the fisrt day it's out aka friday) and LOADS of other fun stuff.

Today I took my mum out for a walk and had a MASSIVE HOT CHOCOLATE with all the trimmings YUM (however she payed for both mine and hers :/). Then I made her a lovely tuna stake salad with stuffed mushrooms! Which was DELICIOUS if I do say so myself (and I actually payed for phew!)! Now I will be sitting down to watch a movie (not sure which one yet, tell you tomorrow) so yeah :))))

My Nerdy Me Tag - Em

1. If your house was burning down and you could only grab one book which book would it be and why?

Tbh I'm not really a book worm, I like reading books and have got more into reading books recently but I probably wouldn't save a book if my house was burning down :S I'm much more of a music obssesed person id probably save my music or headphones! but either: Everyday by David Levithan, The Perks of being a Wallflower is absolutely amazing I'm reading it atm, or Divergent which I love love love :)

2. When you get stuck into a really good book how long will it take you to read it?

Couple of hours, when I read divergent I practically stayed up all night to read it :S 

3. Have you ever become totally obsessed with a book or a series before?

DIVERGENT IS AMAZING


4. On average how many hours a week do you spend on the computer?

I don't really go on my laptop unless I'm doing schoolwork or watching a film or Internet shopping ya know :P however, I use My tablet and phone waaayy too much... I blog on my tablet, I'm always on my phone listening to music 24/7 (seriously I couldn't live without music) so yeah, a lot of my time! Especially when I'm meant to be doing work! I'm so good at procrastinating you wouldn't believe!

5. It is Saturday night and all your friends are going out to a party but on Monday morning you have a really important Maths exam that yyou know you need to study for even though you will probably pass. Do you a) not study, go to the party and hope you pass, b) study for an hour or so and meet your friends a bit later on or do you c) not go out and study hard so you are fully prepared for Monday mornings exam?

I'd go for somewhere between A and B, I definitely wouldn't not see my friends at all :S especially for maths! I'm awful at maths anyway...

6. Do you sometimes come across as anti-social in situations? If so when?

Yes! Haha! Well for example when I'm talking to people in school who I don't know or I'm not very comfortable with I completely over think and my brain just overloads, like what do I do, what do I say, what are they thinking etc so I come across as all awkward, serious and quiet, when really I'm really talkative and outgoing among my friends :)
I love staying in and having nights to myself, but I'm quite social and I'm good with meeting new people cuz I feel like I can be myself :)
If you count listening to music with headphones antisocial then... well...

My Nerdy Me Tag - Han

1. If your house was burning down and you could only grab one book which book would it be and why?
Well personally (I know it's kinda cheating, but still) I would grab my kindle cuz I can buy all of my beloved books again :) haha, can I do that?????? I dunno x actually, I couldn't leave without my Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone because I have had it since around the age of six and it is so battered (from 37 reads YES I HAVE COUNTED OKAY!!!! DON'T JUDGE!). I LOVE IT!!!! It holds so many memories for me my first crush for example (yes I did have a crush on Harry :S) and I dropped it in the bath with a pink bath bomb in it so the pages have gone slightly pink :/ WOOPS lol trust me :) I suppose it does make it unique and my own x

2. When you get stuck into a really good book how long will it take you to read it?
I could do it in a matter of hours! I EAT BOOKS (not literally don't worry) cuz i'm a bookworm :) lol xx

YES!!! Harry Potter! THAT IS MY CHILDHOOD (a bit sad maybe, but that's the truth). I even have 'EXPECTO PATRONUM' on my Duke of Edinburgh hoodie :) you Harry Potter fans out there will understand!!!! x I also think the fact that I've read them over 30 times each is enough to prove that I'm OBSESSED! I'm not gonna lie I half expected a Hogwarts letter to come my way (which of course it didn't :( sadly x) xx

4. On average how many hours a week do you spend on the computer?
Well let me make a little calculation (showing off my nerdy side x tbh I'm awful at maths but nm we can always pretend). Okay so after school I'm on the computer non stop from roughly 6 till 9 so that's 3 hours. Multiply that by 5 cuz I go to school 5 days a week = 15 x then on the weekend I an on the computer from about 11 am till 8 pm minus 5 hours out and 2 hours for food = 2 hours and there are 2 days on a weekend so 4. 15 plus 4 = 19 hours a week that I spend on the computer x that is quite alarming out of 168 hours a week (I worked that out by doing 24 multiplied by 7 :) all in all I spend 5/56ths of my week on the computer x *cue applause* Thank you :)

A Guide to Clothing Colous

HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!! WELCOME TO THE FIRST REAL POST IN AGES!!! :)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) (sorry too excited)
Right, basically there are four main types of colours in the colour pallet, neutrals, cold colours, warm colours and warm neutrals.
'Neutrals' are made up of the colours black, white and gray. These are colours that are used to complement all colours at any time in the year. You can wear a white tshirt, black trousers (or HEELS!) or a gray dress and pair it with any other colours of the rainbow (burnt orange, duck egg blue, hot pink or emerald green etc.).

Next comes the 'cold colours' these include blues, greens and bluey-purples. These complement reds and oranges bordering on orangey-yellows.

The 'warm colours' are reds, oranges, yellows, pinks and pinkey-purples. These are really cute colours for spring (but you need to wear the BRIGHTER VERSIONS or pastels (same with the cold colours)).

'Warm Neutrals' are creams, beiges, tans and browns. We would recommend that during the spring you should try and stay away from these colours (except for on your feet shoes wise) because you want to come out in a WOW factor from your winter burnt clothing colours.

Look at the colour wheel above and choose your colour and see the opposite side of the colour wheel to find out the colour that complements it best.

The Importance of Knick-Knacks

Hia!
Today we are gonna give you a little random post on knick-knacks.
Tbh we don't think you can live without a few knick-knacks. We both have a VERY large collection. Em's include a lot of pink tatty teddy stuff, glass shoes and delicate girly stuff like that.

Han, however, has a blue/turquoise girly-nautical kinda themed bedroom and has a lot of seasidey stuff like boats and wooden lighthouses etc. She also has things such as old china dolls from different countries (norway for example) and jars/china pots in cupcake shapes. Han's prize knick-knack is a warner bros clapper board!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG YAAAY! Her bro bought it for her when he went to that Harry Potter Studio Tour (cuz he knows she's OBSESSED!) x

Mini Book Haul - Han

Okay so I bought a few books this morning. Three books by Allie Condle called 'Matched', 'Crossed' and 'Reached', a book called 'Blue Bloods' by Melissa de la Cruz (which I have already read since his morning WWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOO). Then from a second hand book shop I bought 'Candles in the Storm' by Rita Bradshaw in a lovely worn looking leather cover and I also bought a book that I read as children called 'Swallows and Amazons' by Arthur Ransome.

Hia guys!!!!! At our school we are allowed to do rowing in our games lessons and we took up that chance. Seriously if you EVER get the chance just take it :) rowing is BRILLLL!!!!! x

Today in our session our coach (Dan) made Han stand on her 'fine single' boat without holding the oars. IT WAS TERRIFYING!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! But she felt SO proud of herself afterwards. Okay, so the moral of the story is don't not do something because you are scared, just do it because you will overcome your fear (hopefully XD ) x

Bombay Bicycle Club Concert! :D

Hey guys! The weather is amazing again which is really nice and it's finally feeling like spring :D we thought we'd do a quick post today because we're both enjoying the weather and also doing work today :S school is sooo stressful!


*em* im going to Bombay Bicycle Club tomorrow night with our friends Alex and Jess and i am SO excited! I think it's gonna be amazing! I love their music so much, (Han doesn't really know them as much) and yeah, I can't wait :D comment below your favourite bands and artists!

So if that applies to you LEAVE NOW YOU ARE NOT WORTHY!!!!! Did you hear us?? *shouts* LLLLLLEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAVVVVVEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!

*back in the room* Okay, now that is over we will continue with the post. Basically we took a quick (about 3 hours) look around the official Divergent website and we took the ON-LINE APTITUDE TEST!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! x okay calm.

Both our results were Divergent (tbh we think that happens to everyone) so thought you may like to know our results. Em's top was amity, erudite was the close second (which is weird cuz she isn't super geeky lets just say :S) x then came dauntless and lastly candor :/ xx Han's results were amity, abnegation (she is so not selfless tho x once on a bus an old woman needed to sit down and she just sat there until Em told her to get up and move :S woops) x next came erudite , candor and dauntless last (which is kinda sad cuz dauntless is the faction that she would most want to be in :( x )

Hey guys! Can you believe it the spring has FINALLY COME!!! Can't believe it cuz here in Britain it has been raining and cold for weeks and weeks and weeks and weeks (okay, I think you get the picture). Finally we woke up this morning and it was sunny and warm and so NICE!

Today we just went for a nice walk around a park near our house and will maybe go into town shopping later.

Haul and international women's day - Em

Hey guys! Firstly, happy international women's day (if your a woman that is :D)!

Today I went shopping with my mum and bought 2 tops :) I also had a Starbucks (salted caramel hot chocolate - what else?!)

The first top I got is from Zara. It's a thin blousey material - so it's good to wear in winter and summer :) I love the colour, style and leather cuffs on the sleeves - and it was reduced!

The second top I got is from Next - a jumper with a sewn in fabric shirt :) I really like this and the colour actually looks really nice :) in this picture I've paired it with my favourite necklace from accessorise - I wear it all the time and it goes with everything! Its so so comfortable x

Spring Outfit Inspiration - Han

Heyy :) just thought to do a little spring outfit lookbook kinda thing x

1. Okay, so at the moment I love this kinda look. It is a white turtle neck crop-top with a turquoise skater skirt and vans sneakers. At the moment I also think statement necklaces are REALLY CUTE!! Have you noticed there is quite a theme for turquoise here? I am turquoise obsessed at the moment because it just reminds me of spring, not sure why :S.

2. At the moment I really love patterned/printed t-shirts. They are so sweet and you can pair them with shorts and sandles if the weather permits it or if it's slightly colder you can wear them with jeans, pumps and a cute knitted cardigan. I love prints such as macaroons (like in the pic below) or infinity signs. If you were weird (like me) then you might also like prints with the deathly hallows symbol or the angelic rune on them. If you don't know what they are, just ignore me :) I'm fangirling right now.

3. Okay, so recently I have somehow acquired a few cute crop tops with 'LOVE' written on it. I don't know how it happened, they just seemed to appear in my shopping basket :S then my legs just took me to the till and I found my self handing over the cash x don't judge me guys . . . THEY ARE JUST SO CUTE!!!! I have a gray one from missselfridge with writing in a cute pastel purple colour (that just happen to match a nail polish that I somehow also bought that day from Rimmel (the colour is called 'Ultra Violet' if you are interested)). I've also seen some REALLY sweet bracelets in shops at the moment that are in bright colours with things like 'LOVE' written on them that I think look AWESOME layered up your arm! I think I'm going to go and pick some up formyself!

4. FLORALS ARE BACK!!!!!!! Okay, I sounded very excited then. Granted, I love a nice floral skater skirt, shorts or printed crop-t, but that's what we wore LAST YEAR!!! How about we spice it up a bit??? Maybe wear a cute pair of floral sneakers or if your feeling particularly daring a floral bandeau (90s fashion is making a comeback, EXCITING! I know x) under a pair of dungarees. If it's cooler you could wear a pair of floral jeans, leggins or even a floral print open front kimono (take a look at Tilly's in the womens festival section).

5. Just thought I'd add this in. DON'T THEY LOOK AMAZING?? I bet your mouth is watering! x

6. As well as loving the trend for large statement necklaces I also really like dainty chains around my neck (because sometimes, lets be honest, our necks can't take the strain and tbh WE CAN'T BE BOTHERED to put on a big, heavy necklace). This is the kind of timeless fashion that never ends and I think it looks gorgeous and so feminine. I'm not saying go to Tiffany and grab yourself an expensive necklace, but just go to your local jewellery and knick-knack shop. I'm sure they will have a lovely range of silver (or gold if you prefer) necklaces that will look AMAZING! I would recommend Joma Jewellery London. They have a really nice collection of dainty bracelets and necklaces (granted they aren't the cheapest, but just look how beautiful they are! and they are VERY good quality). If you are feeling particularly arty then you could maybe make your own?? That should be quite fun and you could incorporate your own style into it.

7. These are the colours that I think are particularly 'in' this spring. At the moment you should wear bright, almost florescent colours and I think they look so cool and make you feel happy. Maybe you should ease into them though. Don't start with a COMPLETELY bright outfil because they are such a stark contrast to the browns, burgundies, grays and burnt oranges of our winter wardrobes. :) Turquoise (my fave colour for spring as you have probably figured out), HOT and super bright pinks, bright (almost neon) oranges and (if you are feeling particularly daring maybe bring in a lime green here and there. I would use this colour pallet on your nails as well (matt pastels look really nice with these colours) and maybe use bright eyeliners (turquoise again or green) with a very light eyeshadow and minimal blush. If you like a bold lip (like me) you could go for a bright corral lipstick which looks very nice with these colours. However, if you like minimal colour on your lips I think a light pink glossy lipstick would look nice with maybe a slick of pale gloss on top.

World Book Day

Well happy world book day!
Today in English we had to make a poster with our top 10 books of All Time... and this was very hard (It's like choosing between you BABIES!!!! A little dramatic maybe . . . but still x)!

One of our all time favourite series is 'Divergent' and we CANT WAIT until it comes out in the cinema!
We also love 'The Fault in our Stars' which is also coming out this year!
The hunger games books and films are amazing!
Em: at the moment I am finishing off the divergent series and am going to read 'The Perks of being a Wallflower' because when we watched the film, I adored it! It's such an amazing film!
Han: I am going to borrow Em's copy of 'Everyday' by David Levithan. It sounds so good - a spirit person wakes up as a different 16 year old everyday and uses their body as his host. It's a love story, and he falls in love with a girl he'll never be able to be with. It sounds AMAZING!

Lent Promises and Failures

Basically, we made a lent promise saying we would give up 'three Cs' (weird but kinda funny) they are Cake, Chocolate and Crisps. For no apparent reason, but for a challenge. However, Han already broke this because she went to the post office in our village and bought a bar of chocolate, ate some of our friend Maye's crisps and had a slice of her mother's cake for tea.
So we decided to star our lent thingie again tomorrow :S

This Month's Beauty Wishes

Hey :) we haven't done a beauty post for quite some time and so we thought we would do one now!! :) x These are our beauty wishes for the next month or so (before we either buy them or change our minds :S ).

1. Naked basics eye shadow pallet - It is just so BEAUTIFUL and you could wear it every day cuz its natural AAAAAAAHHHHHH WE WANT IT!!! x
2. Soap and glory sexy mother pucker gloss stick - Han would have Plum Jam, but en would like Nudist (Han likes a bright red or pink, but Em likes her nudes and corrals (though we would both go for a red or corral every now and again)).
3. Maybelline baby skin pore eraser - seriously needed on both parts cuz our pores are LIKE FACIAL CRATERS!
4. Revlon parfumerie scented nail polish - just think, BEAUTIFUL nail colour plus AMAZING smell = MUST HAVE! Neither of us are any good at maths, but even we know that that equation is a NO BRAINER! (OMG! We sound like that no brainer advert with Kevin Bacon, what was it for again??)

A BIG, Cold Hello to March!

Hi Guys,
February has been an amazing month for us. As the second month of blogging for us it has been particularly exciting. We have met up with old friends, made new ones and just had LOADS OF FUN!

Our holiday was great (and actually slightly sunny) with lots of beach days and shopping sprees. WE ARE SO SORRY WE COULDN'T POST we missed you guys so much! The interwebbythingy is SO ANNOYING, but you do actually need it in day to day life (seriously we are not proud at having to make that statement cuz its kinda sad :/ ) x

A few things coming up for next month:

• 'Divergent' is going to be out in the cinema and we are definitely going to see it! It looks AMAZING and we've both fallen in love with the book! We also love the song 'Beating Heart' by Ellie Goulding which is on the soundtrack for the film! (Emily is especially OBSESSED!)
• normal school stuff :S
• We will be going shopping and having a Starbucks:P
• Em will be going to see Bombay Bicycle Club as well this month which will be quite cool!! x

Okay, so maybe our March isn't going to be that exciting x comment below on what you will be doing this month! x

We'll be back to normal with posting now :) we have been on holiday as we said and didn't get back until late sunday night and so went straight to bed :)

Bombay Bicycle Club - So Long See You Tomorrow

Hey guys! This is going to be a short post as we've got so much going on with school atm! *sigh* we've got 'Challenge grade reviews' tomorrow which is when we get told if we're on target or not in each subject which is interesting.... And we've also got a lot going on with 'Guys and Dolls' as well as all the homework we've got on top of it all!

We absolutely LOVE Bombay Bicycle Club's new album 'So Long See You Tomorrow'. *Em* I can't wait to see them live! *Han* I'm SOOOOO JEALOUS! But tbh I'm going to ONE DIRECTION in May! THEY WON TWO BRITS!!!! WHOOO! *Em* I REALLY COULDN'T CARE LESS! Haha :) x anyway back to the post at hand *Han* Sorry.

Why we love the new album:
Firstly, the music is just amazing! It's different to what they've done before and we love it! *Em* I've had the album since Saturday and I haven't stopped playing it since! *Han* I haven't actually got the album I've only listened to it on YouTube, but the music is so uplifting and Iw think they will be so good in concert (lucky Em)! :)
Jack Steadman's voice sounds so amazing, especially in 'Feel'.

Favourite songs - Overdone, Carry Me, Luna (the video is also amazing), It's Alright Now and Feel.

We would give this album 5 stars. We also love the album A Different Kind of Fix, but the new album has more of a bollywood (if you'd call it that) twist which we love! We definitely recommend you getting the album!

We are so excited that we've been blogging for over a month now! WE'VE WRITTEN 40 POSTS (including this one)! We absolutely love writing the posts and hope that you enjoy reading the blog too!

When I read this quote it instantly meant a lot to me. It gives people inspiration and shows that people who think themselves as stupid haven't found their calling in life yet. People need to believe in themselves a lot more and it really upsets me to see people who are so amazing so broken because they don't see themselves as we see them, and put themselves down for the things they can't be/do. These people could be absolutely amazing at something and not realise it.

I'm a MAJOR perfectionist and this quote has helped me to get through times where I think I'm not good enough and realise that there are things that I will be good at and things that I will not be as good at. It brings so much positivity to me :)

Homework - UGH

HEEEYYY GGUUYYSS!! Today has been a REALLY boring day, not to mention an evening of homework. Han is feverishly trying to remember PHYSICS CALCULATIONS (HEEEEEEEEEEEELP) and Em is doing art (which may I mention takes FOREVER!).

Unfortunately we didn't get the parts we wanted in 'Guys and Dolls' :(, but the teachers said it was really close between Han and another girl to get the part of Adelaide (OF COURSE IT IS THE ONE THAT ALWAYS GET'S IT. We are sooooooo annoyed about that it's UNBELIEVABLE. *snap of fingers* And back in the blog). We still did ourselves really proud and the teachers loved our audition!

 Em got the part of Martha who's a main member in the Missionary Band which should be really fun and exciting as it might not be a massive part, but she get lots of singing and musical things to do (Em loves music and she's SUPER musical)  and not to mention she gets to preach with the rest of the salvation army!

Hana got the part of Mimi who is Adelaide's best friend. Although she didn't get Adelaide Han is happy with this part and gets to do a big scene. Han also gets to be a 'Hot Box Dancer' which seems sooo fun!

Sorry this post isn't very exciting! Tomorrow we have a really exciting post planned.

TOWN!

For once we are going to do a LOOOOOOOONG post :)

Today we went into town. It actually wasn't as eventful as hoped, but we did pretty well. Emily was good and didn't buy anything (because she is saving up for our trip to London next week ( on Wednesday to be precise) AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH can't wait).

1. We went to boots. Han bought a new Maybelline the rocket mascara and the new limited edition Vaseline  No 3 (called Paint the town it's a cute red colour)

2. Then our shopping took us to Next because Han had to pick up an order of a t-shirt saying 'I love fashion, blogging, coffee and you' but sadly it didn't look as nice on her as on the model (when does it ever tbh)

3. We have bronze D of E in the summer and so we went to a random outdoorsie (that is a word) shop to buy hiking boots, walking socks and waterproof coats etc.

4. Zara was the next stop on our list. We both tried on some cute stuff (Han tried on a blazer and Em tried on her signature oversized wooly jumper).

5. Then last (but DEFINITELY not least) we went to THORNTONS!!! YUUUUM! We bought a packet of those pink strawberry-chocolate buttons (so cute!)

Hope you enjoyed this post! Ohhh, we almost forgot, for lunch we went to our signature restaurant (pret a manger) and had a LOVELY bowl of thai chicken soup to share and OBVIOUSLY had a little 'stop off' in Starbucks to have a SALTED CARAMEL HOT CHOCOLATE (our fave!).

Valentine's Day

Our Valentine's Day was actually pretty uneventful. Everyone was really flat for some reason. The sixth formers in our school did do a rose sale and a singing serenade (which was quite funny), but other than that nothing happened.

A Boring Saturday

Hello Guys!

Today we have done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING except for homework. Soooooo boring (as the title suggests). The only thing that has happened today is that we went to this cute little coffee shop near to where we live for lunch and we have stayed in for the rest on the day.

Later on we will probably watch the hunger games at Han's house because we love that movie so much (and so we can watch catching fire AS SOON AS IT IS ON BLUE RAY/DVD!). We've already seen 'Catching Fire' so we know that it is AMAZING! It followed the book so well and we LOVED the last line (we won't spoil it if you haven't seen it yet.

So, yeah, that's all we have to say :) tomorrow we are going into town so our blog will be a bit more exciting x

Our Audition for 'Guys and Dolls'

Hello, we told you the other day about our auditions for the school play 'Guys and Dolls'. We did our auditions today and are SO PLEASED WITH OURSELVES! Seriously though we did ourselves proud. That girl we were telling you about (that ALWAYS gets the main part) even said that we did very well.

Han auditioned for the part of 'Adelaide' and her New York accent was SO FUNNY,  the judges (if that's what you call the people who audition us) were laughing so hard you can't believe :) she was so stupid and 'ditsy blonde'.
Em has done the audition for 'Sarah Brown'. She was so brilliant, proper and AAAMMMAAAZZZIIINNNGGG! The PERFECT Sarah.

Our drama teacher told us today that we were fab and she didn't expect it from us to be that good. So hopefully . . .

Valentine's Day Make-up Tutorial - Hana

Step 1: Put your hair in a ponytail
Step 2: Foundation

Step 2: Eyes
- Jack Wills 'Powder Pink' eyeshadow as a base

- Ted Baker 'Heather' shadow in crease

- E.L.F 'Midnight' Eyeliner and Maybelline 'Illegal Length' Mascara

Step 3: Blush and Bronzer

Step 4: Lips

- Natural Collection 'Raspberry' Lipstick lining the cupids bow and bottom of the lips

- E.L.F 'Corral Cutie' Lipstick lightly all over the lips

- Vaseline on top of the lipstick (because I find it looks nicer and it's less sticky than lipgloss)

Hope this helped guys! Here is the finished look and the dress that I am going to pair it with (the blue in the dress suits the midnight blue eyeliner).

Our Unexciting Life

His guys :) today we are just going to do a life update, HOPE YOU LIKE IT!

School is as boring as always and we are CONSTANTLY tired from the 6 o clock starts (yaaaaawn)! Today we did work, work and MORE WORK so yay (NOT) and tomorrow we're guessing we will do the same. Our lives are so eventful (ha! You couldn't get more sarcastic if you tried!!!!!). Sometimes we think this blog is the only thing keeping us sane!

On Wednesday we are auditioning for a part in our school production (guys and dolls) Han is auditioning for Adelaide (the stereotype new York dumb showgirl) and Em is going for the part of Sarah Brown (the sallie army girl). So that should be fun. We hope we have a fighting chance, but as in all schools there is a girl that is a TOTAL teachers pet that thinks she is SO AMAZING AT EVERYTHING that always gets the main parts (so keep your fingers crossed for us you guys!!!) X

Also, as you already know (unless you've been living under a rock) it's Valentine's day on Friday!!!!! However, both of us are single and are not expecting any roses, so we will be each other's Valentine!! Whoooooo! How cool are we???? NOT AT ALL! Lol x comment if you are in the same sticky situation! We could have a SINGLES BLOG NIGHT together :)

So, yeah. That seems to be our week in a nutshell! That was UNBELIEVABLY unexciting, but never mind.

What's the Deal with Brighton and YouTubers?

We don't really have anything much to say today, but we didn't want to miss a blog post so we will ask you a question instead. That question is this: what is the deal with YouTubers and Brighton?

It seems that a LARGE number of the British YouTubers have moved to or are living in Brighton. We don't get why. Zoella has recently moved there and it got us thinking. Does anyone know if Brighton has any particular YouTube oriented organization or something that will somehow explain this mystery. Surely London (though more expensive) is a more sensible place to be because of all of the facilities and sights an opportunities. To be honest neither of us have actually been to Brighton so if you have been there or even live there please comment to give us a quick explanation :)

Fave Biscuits

A bit random, but here is a list (in order) of our FAVE BISCUITS! We recommend you try EVERY SINGLE ONE and we promise you will <3 them.

1. Oreos (the ones with the white chocolate stuff in the middle)
2. Marks and Spencer all butter Sultana Cookies (AAAAAAAHHHH! We're dying inside! WE WANT ONE (well two seeing as there are two of us)!!
3. White chocolate chip cookies (the big ones that are chewy and LUSH!)
4. Chocolate Shortcake biscuit rings (licking my lips)
5. Chocolate fingers (have you realized that almost all of these biscuits include chocolate??) 
6. Custard Creams (YUM! Need we say more??)
7. Chocolate Digestive (a classic, but still DELICIOUS!)

I prefer lipstick because I prefer matte to shiny on me, but I think lip gloss can look pretty... just not on me. I like to go for a bold lip look quite often as it gives me more colour - so I prefer lipstick.

OPI - I really like the colours and the finish.

Inbetween - I hate when nails are really short so that you can't do anything with them - but when they are so long it looks a bit stupid aswell as not being able to do anything!

I'd say natural - but I did have some gorgeous false nails from House of Holland for Christmas - but they took a lot of fuss to take off and they were a bit of an inconvenience at times. They looked AMAZING though!

I like dark colours - such as purples or deep red.

No flower - I think they can sometimes cheapen the look.

I'd say body spray is more wearable for everyday - but I like using perfume on occasions.

Well my hair is quite short so I can't really do either! But definitely a bun :)

Well i used to have really long hair, but i cut it short! It's just above shoulder height and I think that it frames my face a lot more. It's so much easier to manage! I can't really do much with it though mind - and I do kind of miss that. I think people look really nice with long hair - it really suits hana! 

Light or dark?

It depends on the person - but I really like chocolatey brunette hair.

Up or down?

Down on me - putting my hair up never suited me which is part of the reason I cut it.

Well shine... but I do like rainy days 

Summer or winter?

Even though my birthday is in the summer and it's hot (well for us) I'd have to say winter! Christmas (enough said), and cosying up by the fire! I love wearing cosy jumpers and pajamas, hot chocolate is my favourite drink ever! And yeah I love winter :)

I really like spring :)

Autumn (which is fall) because you can dress up warm and look all cute. Also the trees look really pretty and red.

Chocolate or vanilla ice cream?

Vanilla!!! I HATE CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM!! Yuck!
