Mini Cinnamon Palmiers - makes roughly 50

  • 60g of Sugar
  • 2 teaspoon on ground cinnamon (depending on how strong you like your cinnamon, we like it VERY strong! Yuuuuum x)
  • 1 30cm of ready to roll pastry of the puff variety (if you are LAZY. Otherwise you could obviously make your own, but tbh we wouldn't know how to cuz we always take the short cut)
  • melt 35g of unsalted butter in a pan before starting
  1. Preheat the oven to 200oC. Line a large baking tray with paper.
  2. Mix the cinnamon and the sugar together in a bowl then put half of it on a worktop (clean obviously) put the ready made (or fresh) pastry on the work surface and sprinkle the rest of the sugar on top. Flatten the pastry with a rolling pin to secure the sugar into the pastry dough, brush on half of the melted butter and roll the pastry into a long 'sausage' shape and slice the pastry into little sections.
  3. Make the strips of pastry into cute rolled shapes and put them into the freezer for around 15-20 minutes (until firm) tightly wrapped in cling film or plastic wrap.
  4. Put them in a prepared tray with around 1-2 cm gap between each one to allow for spreading. Bake them for around 10 mins or until they start to caramelise. Then flip the palmiers and bake for another 2 mins. Allow them to cool caramelised side facing upwards.
You can keep the palmiers for up to a week in an airtight container.

These are so delicious. Tell us how your baking went!

Trying to deal with stress - Emily

We all go through stressful times at some points in our life, and I'm one of the WORST people for dealing with it! I put a lot of pressure on myself to do the best that I can (major perfectionist) and sometimes it gets too much. However, I have some coping methods which help me a lot and that I'm going to try to do more of.

1. Listen to music - this is my favourite way to deal with anything. I feel like music is my form of escapism, and music can always make me feel more relaxed and motivated and can pick me up no matter what mood I'm in. I don't know where I'd be without it!

2. Have a bath - a bath or a shower is a really good way of relaxing for me. (See our post about pamper essentials for what I like to put in my baths)

3. Time management: Give yourself a cut off time - if you know you have a lot of work to do, you need to make sure that you try and spread it out, (so its not all too much). Also give yourself time before you go to bed, to read or light candles or do anything that relaxes you so that your mind isn't buzzing when you try and go to sleep. If you can't sleep and your brain is overworking you will only make things worse for yourself the next day by being more tired and ratty; more stressed and worried.

4. Take a break - whether it's going for a run, watching TV, having a cup of tea or a biscuit (or 2). If  it's getting too much for you then you just need to stop, take a break so that you can get refreshed before you so some more work.

5. Try not to procrastinate - this is a lot easier said than done because I ALWAYS manage to procrastinate! But I know that I feel so much better once I've got the work done. If I don't do the work then I'll only feel worse for not doing it.

I hope this helped I know that I will be trying to do these a lot more to deal with my stress and worries!

Fave Quote - Hana

Hi, just thinking today about quotes today. And I've decided that my fave quote is by Albus Dumbledore (I am a MASSIVE Harry Potter fan!) from the Philosopher's Stone when Harry is sitting in front of the mirror of Erised staring at his parent's images.

"It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live"

I think that this is so beautiful and really tells you that what is the most important in life is really right in front of your eyes. My friend wrote this in my Christmas card this year and I just thought about it about 5 mins ago and wanted to write a blog post. If your friend or anyone that you know is dreaming about something and you think that whatever it is they are dreaming about is taking over their life just remind them that there are people and things that are worth far more right in front of them that they can reach and that love them. Everyone is capable of achieving something amazing. Don't let anything or anyone control you, ALWAYS live your life to the full and be true to who you are.

Would it be a bit corny just to write YOLO at the end? Yeah it probably will. Haha x lol, I'VE JUST SPOILED THE MOOD! Oh well x

Luv u guys!

Colour of the Rainbow Tag - conclusion come by mutual decision

Hey guys :) this is our 'colour of the rainbow' tag x HOPE YOU LIKE IT!

redLately we have been loving Han's new red handbag that she got for Christmas! It is from 'Vera Pelle' it is a leather 'messanger' cross the shoulder bag that is so beautiful!!

orange: Han's cat because he is BRIGHT ORANGE and so GORGEOUS!

yellow: A bright yellow highlighter because at the moment with tests and stuff at school we have become OBSESSED with highlighting!

green: BarryM 'TMLP' (touch of magic lip paint) because we think that it is so cool how it goes from a green stick and makes a pink lipstick (depending on the alkalinity of your teeth).

blue: The Fault in our Stars book, because it is so BEAUTIFUL that it will make you laugh and cry all at the same time!

indigo: The blueberry candle from Lily Flame! Smells AMAZING and the packaging is so sophisticated and ADORABLE!

purple: At the moment we have a craze over berry lipsticks! I don't really know if berry lipstick counts as purple but we absolutely adore them and so they just needed to be in this video because they are so wintery and cute.

pink: Rose fairy lights because we think they just look so nice and wintery.

multicolor:  CUPCAKES!!!!!! We have this mad obsession with this coffee shop around the corner from our school that make the best cupcakes EVER with the cutest icing patterns! We also LOVE baking our own cupcakes <3

A bit random we know :) sorry about that <3 xxxxxx

Get To Know Us: The Beauty Blogger Tag

Is your hair naturally curly or straight?
Han: My hair is naturally in-between. After I wash it it's curly but after about a day it goes puffy and straight until I wash it again the next day.
Em: I'd say my hair is naturally in between too! Because I have short layered hair it always looks full of texture and volume (on a good day)  which I like :)

Do you dye your hair yourself or go to a salon?
Han: To be honest I don't dye my hair. I definitely would have it does in a salon (if I were to have it done) because I wouldn't trust myself to do on my own.
Em: same as Han :)

Do you wear the same hair style everyday or do you change it?
Han: In school I have to wear my hair up so I usually wear my hair in a ponytail and sometimes a bun done in about 5 seconds in the car. At the weekend I usually wear my hair down or in a bun.
Em: Yes because I can't really do much with my hair in terms of styles so I just like to wear it naturally

Do you do your own Mani/pedi or do you go to the salon?
Han: I always do my own nails because (a) I'm skint and (b) I love painting my nails because I enjoy trying different colours. For Christmas from Emily, however, I did have a salon voucher to go for a mani/pedi with her so I'm really looking forward for that.
Em: I usually do my own but I'm going to get mine done professionally soon!

Do you polish your toes in the winter or just in the summer?
Han: I usually only polish my toes in the summer because you won't be showing off you toe nails, but this Christmas I did paint them because I just fancied it.
Em: Usually only in the summer.

How long does it take for you to put on make-up?
Han: On a normal day only about five minutes because I only usually do a bit of concealer, foundation, eyeshadow and maybe a nude lipstick/gloss/vaseline . . . actually that takes more than 5 mins . . .
Em: Usually about 5 - 10 minutes

What do you do first, Face or Eyes?
Han: Face, I don't know anyone that does their eyes first. I usually put foundation over my eyelids because find it easier to apply eyeshadow with nice smooth face, is that weird? I would probably smudge my eye make-up with foundation otherwise.
Em: I usually do my face first, incase I smudge my mascara or something!

Do you 'collect' make-up or just buy it when you need it?
Han: A bit of both. I usually buy lipstick, blush and eyeshadow whenever I want, but I only get one (or maybe two) mascaras and a foundation (actually I have three open at the moment). Okay . . . I've just figured I just buy it ALL THE TIME!
Em: Same as Han to be honest :)

How often do you wear false eyelashes?
Han: Never I'd be worried that I would poke myself in the eye tbh.
Em: Same here - even though I wear mascara I'm lucky because I have really naturally long and dark eyelashes unlike Han!  If I did wear false eyelashes they would just look a bit silly tbh!

Do you wear make-up everyday?
Han: I wear a bit of mascara everyday, but not full foundation, blush, eyeshadow etc!
Em: I usually wear foundation, mascara and concealer everyday, and when I'm going out I'll wear eyeshadow and blusher. However sometimes if I'm having a good skin day or am in a rush I'll just wear mascara.

Do you wear make-up when you are home alone or with family?
Han: It depends if I can be bothered to put it on or if I am particularly spotty of not.
Em: Same here, probably not.

Will you leave the house without make-up?
Han: Sure, I do it a lot if I have a good skin day.
Em: It depends on where I'm going, but yes I would.

How many High-End products do you have?
Han: Not that many, I usually buy drugstore, but my mum has given me an Elisabeth Aarden Lip SPF and Clinique pressed powder (because for some reason most drugstore powders dry out my face) , but that's about it.
Em: Same as Han really, although I own a Calvin Klein eyeshadow pallette and brow pencil

Do you plan your OOFT (outfit of the day) every night or decide when you are getting dressed?
Han: Unless I'm going somewhere REALLY special I decide as I'm getting dressed thinking 'OMG! I WISH I'D THOUGHT OF THIS LAST NIGHT BECAUSE ALL OF MY NICE CLOTHES ARE IN THE WASH!'
Em: Same as Han, not unless I'm going somewhere special or need to be organised for the next day.

How often do you change your handbag?
Han: I've only have three handbags EVER! So . . not very often!
Em: I have quite a few handbags, so I'll just switch depending on which one I can find and if I fancy it. I usually just stick to my little cream one though because it goes with pretty much everything.

What time do you wake up and go to sleep?
Han: On a school day I usually wake up at around 6:40 am and I go to sleep at about 10:00 pm. But, on a weekend I wake up from anywhere between 7:00 am and 9:30 am. Then I go to sleep at around 10:30 pm.
Em: On a school day I got to sleep at about 10.30 an wake up at 7 am, but I'll wale up earlier if I want to wash my hair or do any work. On a weekend, I tend to go to sleep at about 11 ish and wake up whenever.

How often or when do you do your workout?
Han: Well, on a Monday I do rowing from 2:30-5:00, on Tuesday Em and I do badminton for 45 mins and pointe (ballet) for 30 mins. Wednesday we do ballet for an hour and Thursday go for a 'cross country' run. Friday we both do circuit training (for rowing fitness). On a weekend I just do a bit of abs and core exercises to strengthen my core for ballet.
Em: I do exactly the same except on a Monday I do netball from 2:30-4:00 instead of rowing.

Are you left handed or right handed?
Han: Right.
Em: Right too.

How tall are you?
Han: 5"4' I think.
Em: About 5"5' or 5"6'

Do you speak any foreign languages?
Han: I do Spanish at school.
Em: Same.

How many pets do you have?
Han: One, I have a cat!!
Em: I don't have any :(

How often are you on blogger?
Han: ALL OF THE TIME!!! Literally!
Em: Same, but I'm not quite as obsessive as Han.

Do you read comments on blogs?
Han: I usually read comments on other blogs. I always look out for comments on our blog though, even though there aren't many.
Em: same

Do you keep a list of products to try as you see other products?
Han: I do actually. I right them all down in my 'blog book'.
Em: I keep a mental list and I'll probably research it when I get home.

How did you come up with your blog name?
Han: I guess it's kind of obvious. We just put our names together and shipped them
Em: Haha :) agreed

What kind of camera do you use for your photos?
Han: A little cannon (don't know what type sorry :S) or my phone camera, but I'm saving up for a DSLR!
Em: Usually either my phone or tablet camera, but my main camera is my Panasonic Lumix.

How often do you clean your house?
Han: I live with my parents so I'm not so good at cleaning, but I do enjoy a bit of hoovering every now and again. Is it a bit odd that I enjoy hoovering? I just find it relaxing.
Em: Same here - when I need to.

What is your favourite colour?
Han: Emerald Green
Em: Purple or Red

Do you swear?
Han: Never
Em: All the time, I'm really bad. But I suppose we balance each other out.

What are you doing with the rest of your day?
Han: I'm going food shopping with my bro and them I am going to write another blogpost with Em. Maybe some hwk as well :S I HATE HWK!
Em: Same here - homework :( I have been to an old people's home this morning for my volunteering section of my Duke Of Edinburgh award.

That was fun! Hope you enjoyed it guys! LUV YA!!!

The Friendship Test

Hey guys!
Today we have decided to do something a bit different for you guys it is THE FRIENDSHIP TEST! Today is the day when we will decide who is the better BEST FRIEND!!!! *Han* Me, obviously! *Em* Whatevs!

We have both chosen 5 questions to ask each other. The person who gets the most questions right WINS! At the end of the test if the scores are equal there will be one more TIE BREAKER question to determine the winner.

Han to Emily

1. What do I want to be when I grow up and what did I want to be when I was younger?
Em's answer: You now want to be a Midwife, but when you were younger you wanted to be a famous person.
Correct answer: I do want to be a midwife (specialising in premature and complicated births) and strictly speaking when I was younger I wanted to be a movie star, but I will give you famous person.

2. When I go to a restaurant what do I order and where do I go?
Em's answer: Pret a manger with me, OBVIOUSLY, and you order Sushi.
Correct answer: WRONG!!!!!! I wouldn't class Pret as a restaurant that is more of a 'lunch'. I was thinking Nandos with a chicken pitta.

3. Who is my favourite book character and why?
Em's answer: Catniss from the hunger games because she is so courageous.
Correct answer: Your right, Catniss is my favourite character, but not because she is courageous it's because she isn't afraid to be different and stand up for what is right.

4. What are my three favourite films?
Em's answer: 'Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging', 'The Host' and 'Pitch Perfect'
Correct answer: ALL WRONG! My fave movie is 'Thor', then comes 'Catching Fire' and lastly 'Twilight - Eclipse'.

5. What four A levels do I want to take?
Em's answer: Biology, Geography, Drama and English
Correct answer: Biology, Geography and Drama are right, but DEFINITELY NOT ENGLISH! I want to take Chemistry because I'm going into medicine.

TOTAL: 2.25/5

Emily to Han

1.What animal would I have if I was going to get a pet? And what would I call it?
Han's answer: I havn't a clue . . . maybe a rat? You would probably call it James and you would abuse it till the end of the earth! (sorry animal lovers, but Em HATES rats, especially if they are called James!)
Correct answer:  OH MY GOD THAT JUST KILLED ME. Haha, I think I'd get a cat and I'd call it 'Socks' or something like that

2. What is my favourite thing to do with you?
Han's answer: Have girlie lazy days together like the other week. We would stay in onesies all day and eat PIZZA!!
Correct answer: Not forgetting shopping but that is mainly correct :)

3. Top 3 favourite bands/artists? This will be hard :)
Han's answer: Bastille . . . OH GOSH! I haven't a CLUE!! Um . . .
Correct answer: I do like Bastille! Honestly there are so many to choose from I just wanted to see if you know any! :)x

4. What is my best and worst Subject and why?
Han's answer: Geography because you just suck (she didn't know where France was on the map) and Physics because your brain does not do calculations!
Correct answer: Hey I was just checking! Hahah unfortunately you didn't answer my question properly (learn to read)

5. What are my top 3 films?
Han's answer: 'Pitch Perfect', 'Orphan' and 'Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging'
Correct answer: Angus thongs and perfect snogging is correct! But I love 'Lord of the Rings' and 'Perks of being a Wallflower'

TOTAL: 2/5

*Emily* SUCCESS!

Hope you enjoyed that guys <3
LOVE YOUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!

Emily's amazing hot chocolate recipe!

Hey guys!
I seriously love winter nights, cosying up by the fire in warm fluffy pajamas - and for me they wouldn't be complete without a hot chocolate!
I make mine with Nutella, which is seriously amazing! Firstly you measure the amount of milk you want in your favourite mug, and pour it into a pan. Next you gently warm the milk with wooden spoon on a lowish heat. Once the milk is warmed up, I add the nutella. I suggest about three teaspoons per drink, but you can add more or less depending on taste (I like mine chocolatey). I then pour the hot chocolate back into the mug, and top with whipped  cream and marshmallows! It's like comfort in a mug!

I'm off to make myself a hot chocolate! See you later!
Love you LOADS Emily <3

P.S. Comment below!! We would love to know what your favourite Winter Drink is? xx

Pamper Evening Essentials

We got this AMAZING idea from a blog called 'Kirsty's Corner'. We are subscribed and REALLY LOVE IT! *Han* I actually think that is my favourite blog.

Essential #1
A SMELLY CANDLE (Smelly as in good not bad :D)
*Em* I would recommend Stoneglow Cinnamon and Orange. Granted it's a bit pricey, but the smell is SO WORTH IT! And look at that packaging, simply gorgeous.

*Han* I have to be honest, I don't really have candles, but this one smells so good :) I actually think I might go out and buy one!!! I think I would probably get a Stoneglow White Jasmine scented candle instead though because this is quite a Christmassy scent and I'm being hopeful for Spring (Even though it's not gonna come for about three months yet)!

Essential #2
A BATH BOMB

*Em* My fave bath bomb has to
be the seaweed one from lush. You know, the blue one? BIG BLUE! That's the one. It's only £3.25 so it's not too expensive. If you look at the website you can see all of the ingredients in it and their ALL NATURAL! BONUS!

*Han* Sounds nice, but I can promise that mine is better. It is only £2.29 ( so way cheaper than yours HA!) and it looks so much prettier. It smells like rose petals though (not cherry) and it has chocolate pieces and little heart shape confetti that float around the bath. As if that wasn't amazing enough there are cute little red seeds that bob around in the water that smell DIVINE! I think that the fact it is PINK should give it a bonus point and it turns the bath water a light baby pinkie kinda shade. Some bath bombs (like Em's *coughs meaningfully*) make your skin feel beautiful and soft, but leave the bottom of the bath really silky as well so you slip around when trying to get out, but this doesn't. It allows you to have perfectly pampered skin without the extra ice rink effect. OMG! Look how much I've written! That was quite long winded so sorry about that, but MY FAVOURITE BATH BOMB IS THE BEST EVER! Amen to that :)

Essential #3
BODY WASH
*Han* I have decided to come first this time because it's unfair that Em has been first both times before :) just kidding it's just how things turned out. Anyway back to the blog, My favourite body wash is Soap and Glory Clean on Me. It smells so sweet and florally feminine. The 500ml container is £6.00, but you can also get a travel size of 75ml for £2.50 (and, of course, I have both). It's quite a flirty, strong fragrance and so I don't think it's for everyone, but it is SO ME!

Click for enlarged view
*Em* I have two, no, three  favourite body washes. One is Snow Fairy, again from Lush. This is actually limited Edition, so I don't know how long you will be able to buy it for, but I would try and get your hands on it ASAP because you are in for a treat. It is a really fruity fragrance that you can use on your hair and body. It is insanely sweet and SUPER PINK so as Han said it is perfect for us, but maybe not for everyone. The 110g bottle costs £7.25 which for lush is quite good. My second 'joint fave' is Ginger Sparkle from the Body Shop, sadly I don't know the original price, but I got it for £3.00 in the sale and I just couldn't leave it there. This is, again a festive limited edition (sorry it seems to be a habit of mine to get cheap Xmas sale body washes) and smells so gorgeous. When it says ginger it REALLY means ginger. The smell is so strong you only have to use a tiny bit otherwise it becomes overpowering, but it is a real 'wake-me-up' and so I LOVE IT! Just picture a warm fire, with baking gingerbread in the oven, stockings everywhere and a massive Christmas tree . . . *drifts off into dreamland* *Han snaps her fingers* I'm back in the room. Sorry, must have dozed off for a minute. The final shower gel favourite is *drum roll* BODY SHOP COCONUT SHOWER CREAM! This is a classic fave, but still scrummy. I enjoy how it reminds me of summer and gives me such soft skin. So, basically I <3 IT! To be perfectly honest I don't actually like coconut to eat, it makes me feel really sick, but for some reason I like the shower gel. Why would you want to eat coconut? It's just weird! Comment about whether you like coconut. Han does, but urgh :S I can't bear to think about it! I've just started a weird convo. What are your thoughts on coconut? Anyway, back to shower gel, it cost £4.00 for 250ml so it was quite a bargain really.

Essential #4
FACE MASK

This photo doesn't make it look very appetising, but I promise it is. This is Lush's cupcake face mask (I seem to be quite obsessed with Lush at the moment). It smells amazing (chocolatey of course) and it glides easily onto your face without too many lumps. I find that you can use this pot of face mask at least five times because I don't feel you need too much, but I know Han can't use it more that once because she splats it all on her face. This face mask is a very reasonable price in my opinion because it is made of all natural ingredients and cleanses your face really well. This costs £5.95 and because I use it so sparingly it is TOTALLY WORTH IT!

*Han* Relating to Em's earlier comment about how much face mask I use I would just like to say that she is the one that uses too little. I would also like to add that if I tried I could probably make it last a bit longer, but I choose not too because I'm greedy and enjoy having chocolate on my face! SO DEAL WITH IT! Moving on . . . Personally I prefer to make my own face mask using Avocado, Banana, Strawberries and honey. You could even chop up some cucumber to put on your eyes. All you need to do is mash it all together in a bowl and shove it all on your face without annoying best friends telling you to save it because otherwise it is a waste of money. This is also a healthier option because it is made of FRESH ingredients straight from the fruit bowl. Also if you have the fruit in your house already this face mask will be COMPLETELY FREE! So TAKE THAT EMILY!!!!

Essential #4
FOOD

A Pamper Evening is not complete without the food. We would recommend a bowl of fruit, such as mango, so that you can tell yourself that you are being healthy. Then grab a packet of Oreos and put them on a plate along with a LARGE bar of chocolate (flavour of your choosing) lastly pour a MASSIVE packet of popcorn into a pan cook till the 'pop' put nutella, and/or toffee on top and you are good to go :)

HAVE FUN! We're off to have a good pamper now, so see you tomorrow babes,
Hanily x

Failed Shopping Haul

To be honest we didn't really buy very much when we went shopping today :S

What we bought:

Han:
I bought three make-up products from E.L.F
- a moisturising lipstick in the shade corral cutie
- eyeliner pen in midnight
- bronze and blush contour pallet in #D33

Em:
-I got a book from Waterstones called 'Geekhood - close encounters of the girl kind' by Andy Robb. It looks really good and I'm looking forward to reading it!

Sorry its a bit disappointing guys, but tbh we spent most of our time in Starbucks. We both had SALTED CARAMEL HOT CHOCOLATES!!! Yum :) We also shared a Raspberry and White Chocolate cookie! The colour was AMAZING - bright PINK! But not artificial looking, just raspberry colour.

Winter Makeup Favourites - Han

Han's WINTER MAKEUP FAVOURITES!!!!!!

Face:

Foundation: Flawless matte Finish from BarryM. Personally I use colour 1, Ivory (the lightest colour because I am very pale in winter and need a different colour to the summer). A good foundation really boosts my confidence in the winter time because my skin doesn't really like the weather and tends to go dry. This is my absolute favourite foundation because it is only £5.99 from any good drugstore and it glides on really easily without caking. It also lasts a long time because you don't need to use too much, one pump is more than enough.

Under Eye Concealer: Garnier Anti-Dark Circles. I have the lightest colour so that it can highlight my eyes and make them look brighter while still giving full concealer coverage.

Concealer: This is Collection 2000's lasting perfection concealer it is such a good concealer for me because I tend to have a lot of spots and it has a very high coverage without blocking my pores and causing an even larger breakout of spots than I already have.

Contour:

Blusher: Personally I love blush in coral or light pink shades. This Bourjois Paris Blush in 15 Rose Eclat is perfect for winter because it gives you a healthy glow that makes you look as if you have been outside in the cold. It complements pale skin perfectly and lightens up your face.

Bronzer: Again this is Boujois which is a company that I really like for face powders. This is Bourjouis Delice de Poudre Bronzeing Powder and it is a gorgeous light bronzer that you can layer depending on the coverage you want. It was a £6.99 well spent.

Lips:

Lipstick: For winter I love dark cherry colours and so Revlon's Super Lustrous Lipstick in Dark Cherry  was perfect for me. I got it as a Christmas present an it is beautifully soft and velvety on the lips. I find that it moisturises your lips as well as being beautifully pigmented. It costed £7.95.

Personally I don't wear lipglosses or lipliner and so I don't have a personal favourite of them, but if you like those kind of things comment below because I would really like to try out a few.

Eye:

Eyeliner: Rimmel Soft Khol Kajal Eye Pencil in Jet Black only cost me £2.99 and gives really good definition to your eyes. I only bought this last weekend and so I can't give a proper review yet, but so far so good.

Eyeshadow: Ted Baker eyeshadow pallet in 'Can't take my eyes off you'. I don't know if you can still buy it because I can't find it on the internet and I'm really sorry, but I don't know the price either as Emily bought it for me for Christmas last year and I think it's probably a bit rude to ask how expensive it was. This product has lasted me for over a year even though I use it every day. It

Mascara: Maybelline Waterproof, Illegal Length Mascara is such an amazing product that doesn't dry up. Having almost non existent eyelashes myself it really helps to give length and definition to your eyes. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT and have bought it three times. However, I find it questionable as to whether this is a waterproof mascara because it seems to run and smudge just the same as a non waterproof mascara.

These are Han's make-up favourites for Winter. Emily's will be soon :)

A Healthy Week Day 2!

WEDNESDAY

Breakfast
Fruit salad with 1 banana, 1/2 a mango, 2 tangerines and as many grapes as you can cram into the bowl. If you want you can even drizzle a small amount of honey on the top for a bit more flavour and extra sweetness.

Lunch
Giant couscous with chopped avocado, beans and pepper with walnuts and herbs YYYUUUMM!

Dinner
We would recommend a homemade vegetable soup. A few ideas include leak and potato, spicy parsnip, thai chicken, tomato and basil, carrot and coriander of pea. My personal favourite is spicy tomato and pepper, I can vouch that it is GORGEOUS.

Snack
Strawberry and blackberry smoothie add other flavours and fruits if you want.

Drink
Water and a small glass of skimmed cold milk for Calcium.

Hope you enjoyed this <3

A Healthy Week Day 1!

Here is a week's worth of healthy meals so you can keep yourself feeling and looking the best you can.
Every day for the next week we will give you some healthy eating ideas;

TUESDAY

Breakfast
A large bowl of porridge or Oat Bran cereal with skimmed milk and 0% fat yogurt. This will keep you very full and energized for a large amount of the day.

Lunch
We would recommend a Kale and Cauliflower pasta. Cook the pasta and Cauliflower together as normal. Take the cauliflower out after roughly 3 mins and put in the frying pan with a little bit of oil. Add the kale, cover the pan and cook for 4 mins. Put the cooked pasta in the pan with some parmesan and toss them together to mix.

Dinner
A Caesar salad with chicken and anchovies (if you like them). This I a quick and easy recipe that will give you plenty of iron for energy.

Snack
A small bowl of mixed nuts and seeds. You can get these from any supermarket. They are very good for a small burst of energy and give you good oils that keep your skin healthy.

Drink
Water and a small glass of orange juice for a burst of Vitamin C

Hope you enjoyed this <3

Back to School

Back to school tips:
1. Eat healthily
    - when you eat healthier you feel more confident about yourself and your body. It also makes your skin healthier and more revitalized
2. Alarm
-Set your alarm very early so that you give yourself plenty of time to hit the snooze button. This also insures your 'body clock' will be able to wake you up on time tomorrow.
3. Makeup and Hair
-It is important to put a small amount of suttle makeup on so that you can feel your most confident after a long holiday. You will want to put a quick slick of foundation on with maybe a touch of blush and mascara for a naturally healthy glow
-We would advise you put your hair in a topknot or high ponytail because this style is quick, easy and very effective for all face shapes. It will show off your skin after a holiday and if you have put on a little bit of holiday weight it will make your face look far slimmer.

Hope this helps x

Movie Reviews - 'Orphan' and 'Mean Girls'

'Orphan' is a horror film about an outwardly cute 9 year old girl. Ester, the orphan, is adopted by a family that just lost a child in a miscarriage and when she arrives home to there house she begins to show an evil streak and the family begin to find out that a trouble has a way of finding her. This movie is pretty disturbing, but not very scary and so you can easily put it out of your mind because your brain tells yourself that it is obviously not real.

4 STAR!

Mean girls is a HILARIOUS teen comedy about a young girl named Cady that has just moved from Africa to America and so is the new girl in school. She is very pretty and so she soon becomes one of the 'Plastics' the popular gang in her school. This is the story of how she changes herself to become popular and how teenage cliché’s interact with each other.

3 STAR!

We really love both of these movies, but overall 'Orphan' is the best. Hope you enjoy these reviews and I would really recommend you watching these movies though you should probably watch 'Orphan' first as it is quite disturbing and use 'Mean Girls' as a feel good movie.

LUV U GUYS! Hanily xx

Comment below on whether you liked this or not :-) we are also open for requests xx

Lazy Days

Hey guys :-)
How are you? Today we had a lazy day at Emily's house! It was AWESOME! We watched two movies; 'Orphan' and 'Mean Girls' Emily had watched them both before, but I hadn't.

*Emily grabs the keyboard* I made Hana watch these movies because they are both so AMAZING in different ways. Tomorrow we are going to do a review on both of these movies, so see you then.

LOVE YOU! Sorry it's quite short, but we're in a bit of a rush :S

Hanily

Hi :-)
Welcome to our Blog! My name is Hana and my best friend is called Emily. *Em snatches the keyboard* And together we're HANILY! Basically we shipped our name (as you can probably tell)!
As our joint new year's resolution we wanted to do more things together and so we decided to make a list of things for us to do in 2014 and writing a blog was second on the list, so here we are! x

This blog will just be a random insight into our lives. We enjoy shopping, eating and eating while shopping (sooooo exciting! NOT!!) but hope you like it as much as we will LOVE making it! <3

*Han finally grabs the keyboard after a LOT of squabbling* We will try and post at least once a week, but knowing us we probably will forget. So . . . . yeah. I think that's the end of our FIRST EVER BLOG POST!!

Hope you have a good week :-)

See you again soon xx

Luv ya!

*Emily types* I LOVE YOU MORE!!!!!!!!!!

BTW, if you don't know what 'shipping' is it is when you take two names and mix them together usually for a couple (*H* but we're NOT a couple). Its kind of like Zyler (for Zoella and Tyler Oakley).
